Outperforming its competitors in the compensation and benefits arena, Mercer brought home the gold award not only at the Vendors of the Year awards in Singapore, but also at the Vendors of the Year awards in Malaysia.

Over at the Vendors of the Year (VOTY) awards in Hong Kong, Total Loyalty Company triumphed over others to bag the gold award in the Best Compensation and Benefits Consultants category.

“I am so proud of what TLC and our team has achieved in 4 short years in Hong Kong!”, said founder and managing director of Total Loyalty Company, Sam Lau.

Lau added: “We introduced a whole new approach to employee engagement and rewards and challenged companies to take a different way of considering what “staff benefits” includes. We are grateful for so many companies especially multi-nationals in Hong Kong who have embraced this new approach and using us to great success.

“This recognition in our industry is humbling and exciting, and we look forward to continuing to disrupt and challenge the traditional ways to help our clients have fun and happy workplaces.”

The Vendors of the Year awards, organised by Human Resources magazine, is a long-running annual vendor rankings report that recognises the best solution providers in Asia – starting out in Singapore, and this year extended to Malaysia and Hong Kong.

In the tenth year of the VOTY research, all winners were determined on a two-tier selection process. First, the finalists were identified through an extensive online survey of HR managers in Asia on their preferences.

These finalists then submitted documentation to verify their credentials, which was validated by a panel of more than 50 HR leaders from some of the region’s largest employers.

In effect, for every category, the very end users of such services were the ones who made the critical decision of selecting the best.
