International recruitment services firm FocusCore has expanded to Hong Kong, with the opening of an office in Central.

Damian Rhodes, who will lead the team here as managing director of FocusCore Hong Kong, said the company is excited by the booming job market of Hong Kong, one of China’s fast growing international cities.  The recruitment agency specialises in looking for executive level roles.

“Our key specialisms are senior operations roles like chief operating officers, senior finance roles like chief financial officers, and senior HR roles such as HR directors or talent acquisition director positions,” he says.

The company will serve mainly commercial sectors, including large multinational organisations, local conglomerates and mainland organisations who have operations in the city.

“FocusCore specalises in recuiting bilingual professionals across industries in Asia. For employers we have an exemplary network of professional talent. For candidates, we have strong links with employers in each country,” said Rhodes.

At the moment, FocusCore is just starting out in Hong Kong with a team of less than 10.

“We have a small but growing team here in Hong Kong including both local and expatriate staff. We are looking to grow with the aim of becoming the best – not the biggest and so are always keen to speak to committed, ambitious but ethical individuals who would like to be part of something new and different,” added Rhodes.
