Asia Recruitment Awards, the only regional awards show which recognises and celebrates Asia’s talent acquisition and recruitment champions, is honoured to have the finest names in the HR industry in this year’s roster of judges.
Among them are senior HR executives from international companies such as Crimson Logic, H&M Global Production, IHS, Jebsen & Co., and Legoland.
“Credibility, commitment and competence are the awards show’s standards when it comes to selecting not only its winners but also its judges,” said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine.
“This year’s jury for the Asia Recruitment Awards is looking for organisations that have gone beyond traditional practices and delivered outstanding results for their respective companies.”
Here are some of the latest additions to the Asia Recruitment Awards 2016 jury.
Sylvia Koh is responsible for Crimson Logic’s achievements in the area of people strategies.
As the company’s chief people officer, Koh leads Group HR in designing workforce strategies, managing organisational and talent development, and executing succession planning for various offices and business groups.
Some of the highlights of her 20 years of professional experience in the industry were being the regional director of HR for Asia at Jardine Lloyd Thompson in Hong Kong and business services director for Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance in China.
Giorgio Benassi has always been considered an expert in the full spectrum of talent acquisition.
His knowledge, experience and skills in agency recruitment, headhunting and corporate recruitment did not go unnoticed. He was named Best Recruiter in Amsterdam, where he worked at Philips, and was successful in organising the talent acquisition efforts of Infiniti Global HQ.
Today, as H&M Global Production’s head of recruitment, Benassi is leading the expansion and awareness scheme for the company’s talent brand in both local and global markets and overseeing recruitment across 22 offices and three continents.

Effective human resources management requires the alignment of HR strategies around business objectives, according to Elaine Tan, director of human resources APAC at IHS.
With over 18 years of experience in various areas of HR, Tan has developed her expertise in industrial and employee relations, strategic resourcing and performance management, succession planning, compensation and benefits, employee welfare and communications, employer branding and employee engagement.
Among the industries she had been exposed to as an HR practitioner are insurance, gaming, retail, publishing, national public transport, hotel and critical information services.
Bianca Wong brought her 13 years of HR experience to her role as group human resources and corporate communications director at Jebsen & Co. She oversees the overall strategy and programmes related to human resources across all business units.
She also leads the group’s corporate communications strategy, from public relations, branding, and crisis management to corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes across the Greater China region.
She holds a Master of Science degree from University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University of Pennsylvania in the US.
When it comes to talent acquisition, Murni Masrom’s main principle is to get the right talent, provide them with opportunity to grow and keep them within the company. She carries this with her in her position as human resources director at Legoland Malaysia Resort.
With over 20 years of experience in HR, Masrom has proven her ability in attracting, developing and retaining highly motivated and engaged employees.
