Talent Management Asia 2016, Asia’s leading HR strategy conference, welcomes top HR executives from Maybank, Microsoft and Telstra to this year’s roster of speakers.

They will share their expertise, accomplishments, and latest insights on various areas of HR strategy, from recruitment and retention, to compensation and benefits, learning and development, HR technology and overall human capital strategy.

Talent Management Asia 2016 is a two-day conference held in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in March 2016. The annual event is attended by regional HR leaders and senior HR specialists from the biggest employers in Asia.

Among the speakers of the event are the following.

The person responsible for Maybank’s accomplishments in overall people strategy is Chen Fong Tuan.

As the company’s head of group talent management, Chen leads the bank’s talent acquisition and management, manpower planning, staff productivity, bench strength and succession management, acceleration of leadership effectiveness, talent engagement and retention group-wide.

Among Chen’s career highlights are being the regional head for organisation development, talent and leadership at British American Tobacco, and the Malaysia country talent practice lead for Watson Wyatt.

Chen holds a degree in electrical and electronics engineering from University of Sussex, United Kingdom, an MBA in organisational behaviour from Australia and a post-graduate diploma in organisation development from INSEAD, France.

Jessica Tan’s duties as managing director at Microsoft revolve on developing and driving growth strategies for Microsoft’s business and strengthening relationships with partners, customers and employees.

She was able to double the company’s revenue and bolster Microsoft’s effort to support national agendas in education, enabling people with disabilities and seniors and stepping up public-private-public engagements on e-citizenry.

Apart from her role at Microsoft, Tan is the current chairman for the East Coast Town Council, chairman for the Finance, Trade & Industry Government Parliamentary Committee (GPC) as well as member of the Manpower GPC.

Lynne Barry’s 20 years of professional experience has earned her the respect of the human resources sector.

Today, as the director of human resources for Telstra International, Barry oversees the strategy and execution of the full spectrum of HR functions, including end-to-end HR service management, HR systems, recruitment, compensations and benefits, organisational development and employee engagement.

Before joining Telstra, Barry was the Asia Pacific HR director for Accenture, supervising a workforce of 55,000 across 12 countries.

She has an undergraduate degree in Politics and Social Sciences from Macquarie University in Sydney and holds a Master of Business in Employee Relations from the University of Technology in Sydney.

Other leading companies represented on the Talent Management Asia 2016 agenda are American Express, CIMB Bank, Hong Kong Broadband Network, Maxis, Starbucks Coffee and many more.
