Asia Pacific – Technological advances are constantly altering the way HR performs its roles and functions. Decisions on identifying the right systems and knowing where to invest have become critical.

This is why HR Tech Interactive, Asia’s biggest regional conference dedicated to technology innovation in HR management, is gathering top HR professionals from companies like Google, Samsung, and Facebook to present on how they use technology to improve their human capital management.

HR Tech Interactive is free-to-attend but admission is by invitation-only. A total of 100 invitations are extended to senior regional HR professionals from large companies and government departments.

“Technology plays a pivotal role in people management because it helps accelerate business execution, boost employee productivity, and provide efficiency to the decision-making process,” said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources.

“HR Tech Interactive participants will learn more about this from our line-up of speakers who are top influencers and experts in the industry.”

Now in its third year, HR Tech Interactive 2015 will focus on the areas of HR technology.

Exhaustive research into the HR community has found to represent the most pressing issues for HR professionals in Asia today. Among the speakers are:

Eriko Talley, Facebook’s head of human resources APAC, who is leading a panel discussion on the use of social media and video collaboration in recruitment, engagement and other essentials in people management.

With her 20 years of experience in HR, Talley will explain the role of social media in recruitment, engagement and workforce collaboration. Her array of expertise includes strategic HR business partnership, HR policy development, international HR, mergers & acquisitions, learning & Development, talent management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, HR systems, talent acquisition, and much more. Prior to joining Facebook, Eriko was head of HR at Amazon and a member of the JP Leadership Team.

Taking the audience to the future of the HR workspace, from flexibility to mobility, is Grace Wong, Samsung’s vice president & regional head of HR covering South East Asia, Oceania and Taiwan.

She has worked with organisations like Thomson Reuters and multinational corporations in similar regional capacity in the information and technology sectors. Her leadership experience is proven in the areas of talent management, talent acquisition and total rewards.

DN Prasad, director of people services APAC at Google, will explain the critical role of HR technology in engaging and retaining employees and in producing more intelligent workforce decisions.

His past positions at Google involved managing a regional program management office for people operations, focusing on people ops strategy and managing people programs in India, a function focused on employer branding and talent outreach.

Some of the other companies represented on the HR Tech Interactive agenda are Merck, Kimberly-Clark, Credit Suisse, OshKosh, and many more. All presenters & panellists, such as Freddie Chow, Chief Talent Officer Asia Pacific at Sanofi, are director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.

To be held in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong in October, HR Tech Interactive is Asia’s only regional conference on HR technology strategy. Attendance to the one-day annual event is strictly by invitation only with invitations reserved for the senior in-house HR professionals. Attendance is capped at 100 delegates.

While the theme of HR Tech Interactive 2015 is the role of technology in organisational change, the topics the conference will focus on are: big data talent analytics, mobility for HR professionals, cloud-based people management, social media and collaboration, and next-generation recruitment tools. To get a global and Pan-Asian regional view of HR technology strategy, do not miss HR Tech Interactive 2015.

Human Resources’ “interactive-style” conference format is a unique blend of case study presentations, panel discussions and roundtable discussions in which delegates work through five topic areas in a single day – an experience described by attendees as eight hours of intense peer learning.
