Asia Pacific – Human Resources, Asia’s only media and events brand, has revealed its stellar line-up of judges for the most prestigious awards show for HR solutions providers, the HR Vendors of the Year Awards 2015. The big HR names come from established and high-performing organisations in the region, including Amadeus, Citi, Astro, Merrill Lynch, Lego and many more.

Here are some of the judges:
Jesper Petersen, Lego’s Asia Pacific senior director & head of human resources, offers over 29 years of leadership experience with significant exposure to disciplines such as talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, strategic workforce planning and talent & leadership development.
He gained his MBA in Strategic Management in Denmark and has held many leadership roles within HR. He is skilled in facilitating organisational change, leading teams and building capabilities that help businesses achieve strategic goals.
Alvin Chan, APAC HR business partner airline IT & distribution at AMADEUS, specialises in business transformation, change management, talent management, succession planning, learning & development and organisation design & development.
Before joining Amadeus, Chan held various HR roles at Celestica, including Asia HR director for talent management & learning development and for South-East Asia & global segment operations.
Citi Group’s group head of human resources, Terry Endsor, previously worked on the financial services firm’s European Management Committee which ran all of the bank’s European businesses from its Paris headquarters.
Endsor’s work history includes leading the merger of the corporate and investment banking businesses of Citibank with Salomon Smith Barney as HR Head in 1999 as well as supervising Citi’s HR function for all corporate and investment banking in Asia Pacific in May 2000.
Naveem Kumar, senior vice president (technology & operations) at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, has over 16 years of HR experience across the APAC financial services sector, with specialisation in talent management, employee engagement and HR governance.
Today he works closely with the Merrill Lynch’s business units to developing people strategies for a 1,300-strong workforce across Asia Pacific. Kumar holds a Masters in HR and Industrial Relations and a Bachelor of Science, both from the University of Lucknow.
Astro All Asia Networks’ vice president of human capital, Zaireen Shahriman, is responsible for the broadcaster’s operations & services, talent acquisition, rewards & policies, industrial relations, organisation development, learning & development, employee engagement and business partnership as well as strategic human capital imperatives in the campus recruitment area.
Before joining Astro Shahriman’s previous roles included financial services practice partner at the Ingenium Group and senior regional consultant at HRnetGroup.

All judges, such as Janet Man, senior director for talent & diversity at McDonald’s, are director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.
The HR Vendors of the Year Awards is based on a two-tier selection process. Category finalists will be decided by research on the vendor preferences of HR managers in Asia. The winners will be judged by an esteemed jury of over 60 regional heads of HR from around Asia.
