Searching for Asia’s top employee engagement leaders

Asia Pacific – How connected are your employees to your company’s mission and how enthusiastic are they about their roles and high performance?

Keeping employees engaged and motivated is one of the most challenging aspects in workforce management.

Organisations which excel in this area will be recognised and celebrated at the HR Excellence Awards 2015, Asia’s most respected awards recognising & celebrating excellence in outstanding human capital strategy & execution.

Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources, explained the HR Excellence Awards jury will assess the nominees according to the design and execution of their recognition, incentive, and rewards systems.

“The criteria for the Excellence in Employee Engagement award are also based on how well they were able to increase the level of engagement in the workplace.”

The winners of the Excellence in Employee Engagement award at the HR Excellence Awards 2014 in Singapore were telecommunications firm SingTel which won gold, e-commerce company eBay which won silver, and environmental agency National Environment Agency which got the bronze trophy.

Last year’s HR Excellence Awards in Malaysia saw TV service provider Astro take the gold trophy for the Excellence in Employee Engagement award, with tech solutions provider Siemens grabbing the silver trophy and investment firm Zaluvida bringing home the bronze trophy.

“All HR Excellence Awards finalists will be evaluated by the industry’s most respected HR executives,” said Evon Yew, regional producer at Human Resources magazine. “The Excellence in Employee Engagement award will be a testament to the effectiveness of a company’s motivation programs and leadership quality as well as overall organisational success.”

As always, the HR Excellence Awards are judged solely by an esteemed jury of over 60 regional heads of HR from around Asia, making the HR Excellence Awards the only HR awards in Asia based on a peer review system.

Companies represented on the HR Excellence Awards jury are the most respected Fortune 500 organisations and some of the biggest employers in Asia and the 2015 jury is no different.

Past HR Excellence Awards winners are a who’s who of the most respected HR teams in Asia – AccorHotels, Agilent Technologies, ANZ Bank, Astro Holdings, BASF, BMW, Cisco Systems, DBS Bank, Dell, Deloitte, eBay, Ericsson, Ernst & Young, Facebook, Fuji Xerox, Google, Groupon, KPMG, Land Transport Authority, Malaysia Airports, Manulife, Maybank, McCann Erickson, Media Prima, Ministry of Manpower, National Environment Agency, PwC, Philips, Samsung, Siemens, Singapore Telecommunications, SMRT Corporation, Star Publications, Starwood Hotels, Thomson Reuters, UPS, VMWare, Unilever, Waggener Edstrom and many more have all proudly accepted HR Excellence Awards trophies over the years.
