Randstad won gold at this year’s Vendors of the Year (VOTY) awards not only in Singapore, but also in Hong Kong.

Country manager for Randstad Singapore, Jaya Dass, credited the whole team for the outstanding results, highlighting that the firm’s strong focus on delivering superior customer service had been key in achieving the gold awards.

“For a talent-short market like Singapore, identifying and recruiting for mid-level and senior management roles can be quite challenging. However, our commitment to delivering only the most high-calibre candidates who are the best fit to our clients’ business has allowed us to consistently demonstrate success in these areas.

She added that winning the gold award is a strong recognition by industry leaders of the team’s expertise in sourcing the best talent in Singapore.

“As a recruitment firm, our focus is always ensuring that we match the best people with the best companies that will develop their potential, while at the same time matching companies with innovative talent who will drive their business forward,” said Dass.

Over at the Vendors of the Year awards in Malaysia, the gold was presented to Hays Malaysia which has operated in the nation since 2012.

The Vendors of the Year awards, organised by Human Resources magazine, is a long-running annual vendor rankings report that recognises the best solution providers in Asia – starting out in Singapore, and this year extended to Malaysia and Hong Kong.

In this year of the VOTY research, all winners were determined on a two-tier selection process. First, the finalists were identified through an extensive online survey of HR managers in Asia on their preferences.

These finalists then submitted documentation to verify their credentials, which was validated by a panel of more than 50 HR leaders from some of the region’s largest employers.

In effect, for every category, the very end users of such services were the ones who made the critical decision of selecting the best.
